Asking someone to marry you is usually filled with excitement, anticipation, and of course anxiety! Many guys spend a lot of time in thinking about how they will ask someone to marry them and considering the many different options. There’s everything from romantic dinners to billboards. Here are some unique ideas from a few movies and popular TV shows that you can use as inspiration.

1. Yo Adrian!: One of my friends, a huge fan of Rocky movies actually proposed to his wife exactly like Rocky did. He took her to the zoo and said to her “So uh..I was wondering like what do you think you’re doing the next 40-50 years? I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind marrying me too much.” You can watch this famous scene below:

2.A Lot Like Love: This is a cute scene from the movie A Lot Like Love where Ashton Kutcher shows up one day with a guitar and singing Bon Jovi at the top of his lungs…what could be more romantic than that?

3. Wrapped Around Your Finger: In the movie Stepmom, Julia Roberts opens the box to find a spool of thread.

CSI: Beekeeping You: While personally I would be really nervous being surrounded by that many bees, this is definitely a very original way of proposing to someone.
