When to Know You’re Falling for Her

October 13, 2012

Love can happen anytime, anywhere and at any age. Sometimes it happens at first sight, while sometimes you might fall for somebody you’re getting to know. It might also happen at some phase with somebody you know for a long time. It’s important to recognize when you’re in love, so that you can take some action. If she’s already dating someone, it might be advisable to wait. If she’s already your friend, and there is a risk that even the friendship might break if you tell her that you’re in love with her, then you might need to deliberate over that a bit. So on and so forth, there may be many such situations, but the basic premise behind all this is the realization that you’re in love. Love is a wonderful feeling and it should be experienced to its fullest, because they are perhaps one of the most special phases of one’s life.

So how do you know when you’re falling in love? How do you differentiate that from friendship? How do you realize that it’s love? We’re mentioning a few things which, if are happening with you, then you, in all probability, are in love.

  1. You can’t resist yourself from talking to her, from being near her – No matter how upset you are with that person, how much they’ve knowingly or unknowingly disappointed you, a few words from them and you’re perfectly alright again. You just feel the urge to talk to them all the time, irrespective of whether you have anything to talk about or not. You want to be close to her and be around her all the time. There’s this smile which inevitably spreads on your face when she’s around, the slight blush that appears out of nowhere, that excitement, and you’ve fallen for her!
  2. You love teasing her – Around her, you try to be funny and if there’s no one else to make fun of, you try teasing her. You make her laugh all the time, and you’re feeling something you haven’t felt in a long time. You’re just happy, and you want to stay in the moment.
  3. Possessiveness – You just can’t stand the sight of some other person of the opposite gender talking to her. When she talks with her guy friends, you’re jealous on the inside. You don’t want anybody to be with her, because she’s yours and only yours. If somebody else is making her laugh, you experience a mini heartburn. You want to get involved in every conversation she has.
  4. You should know that you’re in love when she seems to have the power to make or break your day. A few nice things from her, and the day seems beautiful. A disagreement or a fight with her, and the entire day goes bad. That is the power she wields in your life, and that is how much she matters. When her pain becomes your pain, when her suffering becomes yours, then you know that there’s this feeling that you might never forget.
