One of my breakups was due to incompatibility. We were both blinded by the physical aspect in the beginning.

When I saw her feed donuts and Kool-Aid to her kids at 10:30pm on a school night, then saw the kids jump up and down on the couch screaming...

It is sad...in some relationships these things can be "fixed" (as I'll probably talk about in a future post) - but many times one partner isn't willing to do what it takes to get it back together.

Your #5 is the big winner on my list. In fact, I've heard that miscommunication is one of the leading factors in broken relationships.

How sad, isn't it? So many people, truly in love with each other, but fail to make the relationship work due to ineffective communication.

So many tools out there for us to use - I ain't ashamed to reach out for help when I know I need it. Sometimes, it can save a marriage. ;)
