I’m a sucker for Freebies and Contests. A lot of you reading this probably know this because anytime someone has a blog contest I can’t help but jump right in

Being a freebie junkie has some advantages and disadvantages.

The main advantage obviously is you get cool stuff for FREE. I’ve gotten everything from free coffee to free books, picture frames, movies, etc. etc. The second great thing about Freebies is they usually come through the mail. Most of the time we open up our mailbox expecting a ton of bills and junk mail. When you’re a Freebie Junkie like me, it’s actually kind of exciting to see what comes in the mail. Another advantage of Freebies is they can be great for travel - just today I got a free sample of laundry detergent which will be awesome to have when we go on vacation. (Now I won’t need to buy a travel size or worrying about it spilling.)

There are a few disadvantages of being a Freebie Junkie:
1. Your family and friends may chastize you: My hubby is always groaning about all the Freebies I get. He often compares me to the main character from the movie The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio.

2. Free Stuff Takes Up Space: This is probably why my hubby groans about it. I have a HUGE box dedicated to all of my freebies I get. It’s important you only get the freebies you WILL ACTUALLY USE!

3. It’s hard to tell which Freebie sites are legitamate: Many will list offers but then you get those annoying “survey” type things that you quickly realize waste a lot of time and don’t really give you anything for free at all.

Today though I found an awesome site I think is worth sharing with everybody: JustFreeStuff.com. As the name suggests, that’s exactly what it is: Just Free Stuff. You can sign up by email for their daily newsletter (a must for a die hard Freebie Junkie like myself) or even check out their contests to enter for a chance to win. I really like how nicely organized everything there is as well.

The best things in life are free - so we might as well take advantage of sites like JustFreeStuff.com.
