With Mother’s Day Fast Approaching, I thought I would pay a special tribute to all the great Mom Bloggers out there. So here they are, 8 Awesome Mom Bloggers:

1. Geek Mom Mashup: Being a bit of a geek mom myself, it’s always fun to see what Geekmom (aka Heather) has written about. As her site says “Life is a mashup of toys and gadgets, hobbies and recipes, kids and odd socks, all held together with love and duct tape.” It couldn’t be more true. With posts like the Battlestar Galactica built with legos, 5 Important Lessons Learned from a Temper Tantrum at Target and most recently explaining to kids why it’s okay to be a geek, there are plenty of things to keep any geeky mom entertained.

2. That Crazy Mom: That Crazy Mom is a single mom writing about everything from the not-so-fun custody battles, Proud Mommy Moments and how moms transform from being hot, flirty, and intoxicating to watching Noggin with a 5 year old on a Saturday Night. As a former single mom myself, I don’t find That Crazy Mom too crazy at all.

3. Making Mommy Hot: Most of us moms do not look like supermodels after having kids. With her blog Making Mommy Hot, Ruthie is a mom on a mission to lose weight and be healthy again. If you’re considering Weight Watchers,looking for ideas on Food Choices, or just need a little inspiration, Making Mommy hot is a great read for any mom who is also trying to look and FEEL good again.

4. The Mom With Brownies: We all know Moms with Brownies are great moms. Her blog has plenty of tips on penny-pinching, family life, homeschooling, and yummy yet miserly menus. Make sure you stop by and get her brownie recipe from her header, also.

5. Peapod Squad Stuff is a blog written by the mother of triplets. I have enough fun chasing after my 2 kids, so you really have to appreciate a mother of triplets who still has time for blogging. With stories of her kids, American Idol updates, and a neat craft idea with crayons, Peapod Squad Stuff is a great mommy blog.

6. Dance of Motherhood.Dette and her site were on my list of great Mommy Blogs before I even found out about her Favorite Mommy Bloggers Contest. Bustin out with some old school Hip-Hop, her blog about Motherhood, Wifeyhood, and everything else in between is worth checking out for any mom!

7. Mums Gotta Dot Com is a blog about a mom blogging with family stuff, health and many other awesome things. Be sure to check out her great pictures while you’re there!

8. Mommies Home: This blog is all about a mom who traded in her corporate lifestyle for being a stay at home mom with her two kids and loving it. This mom is using Drupal as her blogging platform which is awesome all in itself! She also has some great Parenting Tips, Household Issues Advice, and a great collection of Mommy Videos.

Why do I only have 8 mom blogs listed here? Because I’m a mom and I think my little one will be waking up very soon for her breakfast which means I’m running out of time to list other awesome mom bloggers…but I’m sure all you mom bloggers understand!
