Aaah, the Shmuffin…

A gas station breakfast delicacy which can only be found in Sheetz stores. The Sheetz Shmuffin is made with 1 English muffin, a rubbery sausage patty (or you can get bacon!), processed cheese, and whatever toppings you might like. I find pickles make a nice accompaniment, though you have to wait longer for it to be made since it’s a “special request”.

Sheetz so far has only made it in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina, though hopefully it will just be a matter of time before they start branching out into other places.

Do not be fooled by imitation shmuffins like the mcmuffin and others (even if they were the “orginial” breakfast sandwich, they are not the same! The Sheetz shmuffin is another thing for my list of “things I love”.
